Dr Habicht has been my psychologist for quite some time and I have consulted with her face-to-face, by phone and telehealth over this period of time including Covid. She provided a lot of psychoeducation about the process of assessment and the need for it to be thorough in order to determine the contributing factors to the problem. She shared her case formulation with me and since then we have worked on the goals that she has helped me to fine-tune and that we review regularly. Over the period of time the intervention provided included EMDR and Schema Therapy. Dr Habicht has a thorough understanding of trauma and although some sessions caused me to feel distressed, I always left the sessions with very much reduced arousal. Dr Habicht is very easy to talk to and she speaks various languages. She is very empathic, direct and focuses on skills development which has enabled me to achieve most of my goals. I think she is a great psychologist and I commend her for her clinical skills.
