Moruya Drive Child Care Centre is a nationally accredited one unit preschool and long day-care centre, catering for the Port Macquarie region. Since 1994, owner Elissa Cross has been managing the local centre, providing professional and stimulating education for 3 to 5 year olds. Elissa has a university degree in Early Childhood Education and works with dedicated staff to carry out programs created using the National Quality Framework and Early Learning Framework. We also focus on school readiness programs that are based on the Early Learning Framework. Our child care centre has a high staff to child ratio, so there are always dedicated staff members educating your child. We introduce your children to learning through technology, with many activities available on our iPads. Moruya Drive Child Care Centre encourages our educators and children to learn about the sustainable use of resources and to apply this knowledge for sustainable practices throughout the centre and at home. Our centre is involved in the �Munch & Move' program, supporting healthy food options and physical activity for our children. We also participate in the SunSmart Schools and Early Childhood Program, encouraging a healthy attitude to sun exposure. Moruya Drive Child Care Centre operates from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 49 weeks of the year.
