Catholic Community Kindergarten Silkwood is committed to the concept of a quality learning environment, superior care and developmentally appropriate activities and play experiences. The Kindy is located in the heart of the Southern Deanery on the Cassowary Coast, on the site of St John's School, Silkwood. It is geographically placed in between the larger towns of Mission Beach, Tully and Innisfail. Our Kindy is fully affiliated with Catholic Early Learning and Care (Diocese of Cairns). Our philosophy reflects the three-way partnership between parents, children and teachers and recognises that parents are the first and most important educators of their children. We aim to prepare each child for a seamless transition between Kindergarten and Prep. Staff recognise that the children in our care are our future. The Government Approved program at Catholic Community Kindergarten Silkwood is designed to develop and enhance your child's physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, creative and social development.
