Brabham’s Outdoor Power Centre is a family owned and operated Bathurst business. Doris & Eric Brabham opened Bathurst Paint Hardware & Gift store in William Street in the early 1950’s. In the late 1960’s when situated in George Street we were appointed the STIHL distributor and service agent for the Central Tablelands. This part of our business grew dramatically as did the STIHL company in Australia, placing us as one of the top state dealers. A change took place in 1991 and we built new premises on the corner of Rankin and Durham streets (on the highway). We now specialise in small motors, chainsaws, mowers, brushcutters, generators and lots more. We service all brands. The business is now expertly run by Wendy, Clive, Paul, Beth (who has been with us 20 years) & Peter Lillie. We pride ourselves on our friendly personal service and quick turn around on all repairs. Brabhams Outdoor Power Centre are experts in the full range of Stihl Chainsaws and Power Equipment and stock the sales leading range of Honda Generators. The team at Watson Tractors headed by Dealer Principal Millie Watson, Business Manager Dave Watson and staff members, have over 100 years of experience in the agricultural machinery industry. Millie has a lifetime of experience in all aspects of Small Business and Dave Watson is a trained Diesel Technician who was born into the family business and has excellent technical and product knowledge. Both Millie & son David Watson have a wealth of local and regional experience. In March 2020 young Zane Watson is the 3 rd generation Watson now working at Watson Tractors. He commenced his Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship in February 2021 and is attending the Dubbo TAFE facility.
