For the last 2 years I have gone to Signature Mechanical to have the oil & oil filter changed in my car. I supply the oil and the oil filter and they do the oil change for a total cost of $55. And each time I have gone there for the oil & oil filter change I have dealt with the same female staff member at the front counter. This year that female staff member was not there and now that same oil & oil filter change job cost me $90 in total. An cost increase of $35 within a year. I provided 5 litres of oil and 4.1 liters is used in the oil change and they then charge me a $13.64 for Waste Management fee ( which is fair enough), the 900mls of oil left over will probably be used to top up another vehicle ( I should of received that unused oil back / as I have done in past jobs ). I can not justify paying $90 for a oil change when I provide the oil and oil filter. I will go back to doing it myself.
