For more than century, GF Hill Removals & Mini Storage has been the name Maryborough locals associate with great value, superior removal services. In 1890, our founder, the late Fred Hill, began carting soil, sawdust and firewood by horse and cart. His son, George, took over the business in 1922. Later on, the first truck was purchased, which began the era of the quality services still known today. When George passed away in 1976, his daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Ted Benson, took over the business. In the following years, Ted's brother Matt joined the business. In 1986, Rod Foster and Kay Lahey purchased the business, marking the end of the Hill's era, but not the top-quality service. They purchased three Pantech trucks and expanded into furniture removals, helping thousands of customers move around Australia. To utilise more than 120 years of experience, contract us today.
