In 1959 a small group of independent Victorian furniture retailers met to discuss the possibility of forming an association to maximise the effectiveness of their businesses in the face of increased competition from large, franchised organisations. As a result of this initial meeting, Newfurn Floor Coverings Ltd was formed. Over 30 years later, in 1993, they launched the Carpet Choice brand with 17 stores in Victoria. Since then, after a further brand update, Choices Flooring has rapidly grown to include more than 140 stores across Australia. Since those early days, Choices Flooring has arguably become Australia's most progressive retail floor coverings group and a major force in the Australian retail sector. Phil's paint and blinds is a family owned and run business. We believe in quality products, quality service and expert product knowledge. Wherever possible, we source Australian made and owned products. We make our own curtains onsite and our curtain maker has 20 years of experience under her belt. In the showroom, we have all the latest in styles and fabrics so there is sure to be something to fit your needs. Our showroom is one of the largest this side of the blue mountains showcasing blinds, awning, shutters and curtains.
