Hi, I'm Anna. Being active is in my blood. I grew up on a farm, rode horses and ran competitively as a youngster before turning to the bicycle for my endorphin fix and mode of transport. When I got pregnant I was determined to maintain my strength and fitness but my body had other ideas. After a very challenging nine months I turned to Pilates to help me in my recovery. Pilates helped me regain my strength and confidence in my own body, but also challenged my definition of health. True health comes when both the mind and the body are aligned in harmony, and moving our bodies is FUN.

Rejuvenate Pilates' founder Kerryn Smith knows first-hand what it feels like to be in a body that doesn't move well. Her journey began over 15 years ago when she was diagnosed with scoliosis and spinal arthritis. After trialling myriad therapies, Kerryn discovered Pilates had helped provide relief from her chronic pain. With consistent, regular practice she regained movement in her spine, increased her strength and found a way to sustain a healthy weight. Through Pilates, Kerryn transformed her life from debilitating agony to becoming an active and mobile mother of two lively daughters. Hi, my name is Bec and I am a Qualified Polestar Pilates Instructor providing Pilates classes in the beautiful town of Maleny. We've been running our classes since 2016 and our lovely group of participants also have regular social get togethers. I run a variety of classes for anyone wishing to improve their posture, flexibility, upper and lower extremity strength, core stability and spine agility. I first started Pilates 20 years ago, after an accident left me with a disc herniation, forcing me to stop running and playing sports. I instantly fell in love with the Pilates Method. Movement and breath suddenly made sense. I learnt to isolate individual muscles and I developed a strong core. I felt stronger than I ever had, even compared to when I was a nationally competitive gymnast as a youngster. Pilates keeps me moving in my everyday life with less pain and discomfort. It's a wonderful movement modality that is suitable for everyone.
