I was highly recommended DK removals.
To be fair to the men, it was a dreadful job, as our house was falling apart with roof leaks and rising damp, but this was not our fault.
They charged $1122 to move two uni student's stuff (new property was 15 minutes away). The workers said they were tired from working 13 hours the day prior. They said they had to park 50 metres away, but actually parked across the street, generously 6 metres away from the front door, confirmed by our old neighbour. They said they had to pack items into boxes, but they actually loaded the small cupboards with the stuff still in them.
We could not afford much, so we moved the majority of our boxes the day before (as well as small furniture items, such as a pet tank and bedside tables).
I study engineering full-time, and have little time to work. This experience has greatly affected us financially, and if you are a young or financially vulnerable person, I would recommend going through a different company.
This business was given every opportunity to refund $210 accidentally put into their business account . Once banking details are sent they block my number . No intention of giving this money back to a young disabled person ... no morals do not use .
