I have always had a lifelong dream to photograph the world, and this became evident the moment I held a camera in my hand. My father was a great believer in recording history through diaries, storytelling and photos and due to his encouragement, I fell in love with a camera. My journey to fulfil my dream has been filled with being creative with design and screen-printing and achieving high results in sales and training. During this time my camera was never far away. I have been blessed to have travelled to some of the most beautiful countries capturing timeless memories. Today, I have hung up my safety boots and sales targets and now with the love and support of my husband David, I can be found with my beloved camera. I have been a resident of Mackay, Qld since 1991, working as a self employed builder, mainly renovations and particularly bathrooms. I had an interest in photography whilst growing up in Sydney. But life had other ideas! During the last ten years or so, however, the photography bug has definitely awoken from it's long slumber. I am passionate about trying to preserve what's left of our natural environment and the creatures that inhabit it and capturing it's natural and often rugged beauty as best I can with my camera. Being a coast dweller I am naturally drawn to the limitless photographic possibilities that await in the early hours of the day, but I am also drawn to country and outback scenery in particular the beautiful Red Centre of this amazing continent.
