Newmarket Saddlery is a family owned and operated Australian business that began in 1864 by W & H Williams. Wayne Walker started out his love for horses at a young age, and eventually started his apprenticeship with Newmarket Saddlery in 1969, and bought the business 3 years later. During this time Newmarket Saddlery was prodominantly a wholesale and manufacturing company, making Australian made saddles, bridle wear and other strapping.
