I have been a patient of Jenny’s for over a year, we meet fortnightly over zoom. Jenny is helping me accept my diagnosis of OCD, ADHD and cPTSD. Our focus is me accepting that my trauma is real. We unpack and identify my triggers and the relationship between triggers and my reactions: I don’t want to continue sabotaging my relationships, particularly with myself! This practical, and non-condescending approach has “let” me let my husband “in”, and will most definitely preserve the relationship I have with my children. Jenny is a unique counsellor and I realised early on, I didn’t have to wear my “perfect person” mask for her.
