“I have been to the Anderson Street clinic about 8 times for check ups and repairs, these people are great. The Dentists are great, and service is great. Gentle dentists, explain everything in detail. They will make room to fit you in, if its urgent, and they work after 5pm and saturdays. They care about their customers for sure, it shows. we are lucky have them in Cairns, I hope this review tells people, its a good place to go.”

JCU Dental is a teaching clinic associated with James Cook University's Discipline of Dentistry Cairns campus. We support the university's vision to provide clinical experience to dental students while simultaneously offering comprehensive dental care to the Cairns public. JCU Dentistry students, alongside experienced dental professionals, perform all of our services and treatments. As a teaching clinic, appointments are expected to be longer in duration than other clinics. Our students learn how to perform emergency dental services as well as basic procedures including crown, bridge, dentures, periodontics, endodontics, and general and paediatric dentistry.

“I have been going to JCU Dental for 3 years now. The reception staff are always happy, efficient and friendly. There was very little waiting time. The last 2 Dental students, I have found them to be absolutely fantastic and professional. Also the senior Dentist in each ‘pod’ was very informative and explained and examined each procedure. Full 10/10 and would recommend to everyone.”
