Provincial Home Living originated in Wangaratta's Reid Street early in 2002 where the Provincial founders owned a small store. Beginning as a hobby, the generic manchester store reopened it's doors with a fresh outlook on retail, bringing a new approach in homewares and furniture which was readily embraced. Following the success of the Wangaratta store, a site became available in Bendigo, then Ballarat and so the Provincial Home Living adventure really began. The journey continued through the years and country Victoria opening another seven stores. The concept of the products and the presentation was refined and then inroads were made into Melbourne, Canberra and Albury. In 2012 the first superstore was opened in Adelaide, followed by another in Mornington, Victoria. The opening of our first Sydney store in December 2013 and most recently the opening of two Brisbane stores in 2016. In just over 20 years Provincial Home Living has grown from one small country store to a large business with 35 stores across Australia and the aspiration to open more superstores. Provincial Home Living is still proudly family owned and managed.

Unique hand made, custom built furniture to feature in your home I have been cabinet making and hand building fine furniture since 1989. During this time, inspired by the beautiful features and colours of Australia's native timbers, I have created a wide range of furniture such as: dining suites, display cabinets, buffets, occasional tables, desks, bedroom suites, entertainment units and kitchen cabinets. All these pieces have been hand-built using traditional joinery techniques and with attention to detail, so you can come to me with confidence knowing that I will produce a piece that is beautiful, functional and durable. I mainly use Australian hardwoods, although am quite happy to use some exotic timbers where requested. Some examples of timbers used are: Jarrah, Tasmanian Blackwood, Victorian Ash, Red Mahogany, Flooded Gum, Apple Gum, Silver Ash, Blue Gum, River Red Gum, Queensland Maple and Cedar. There are many more available. Bring your ideas and even your own timber I encourage you to come to me with your ideas and together we can design a new piece of furniture for you in the timber(s) and style of your choice, be it traditional, contemporary or retro.
