Church Street Medical Centre opened in April 2008, a collaboration between four doctors and two managers. We remain privately owned with five of the original owners still working here today. Over the years we have grown as a practice and currently have seven part time GPs, full time practice nurse support and many allied health practitioners. Being an ownership group of all women we started the practice to not only provide excellent health care to our community but to recognise and support the need for work/life balance in our workplace. We pride ourselves on achieving this which is reflected, we think in the longevity of service of our staff and doctors, most of which have been with us from the beginning. We are independently assessed and accredited by AGPAL, with a keen interest in ongoing quality improvement and initiatives.

Beyond Podiatry provides treatment for patients of all ages, presenting with a variety of foot concerns. We have three convenient clinics in Waratah (also servicing Belmont and Charlestown), Glendale and Warners Bay, each with level access and easy parking. Home visits are also offered for patients unable to attend the clinic. Beyond Podiatry in Newcastle is owned and operated by Danielle Robertson. Our podiatrists are fully qualified and are registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia. Our podiatry clinics provide treatment for all types of concerns, including those caused by sporting injuries. We work with patients to ease heel or bunion pain, treat ingrown toenails and correct alignment problems that may be causing pain. We also work to remedy painful conditions such as Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, Sever's Disease, bursitis and Haglund's syndrome. Beyond Podiatry use many evidence-based conservative (or non-surgical) treatments to manage pain and discomfort. It is only when these options have been fully explored and the problem continues that our Newcastle podiatrists may recommend surgery. We have podiatric treatments to assist with the smallest corn or callus through to complex foot pain, which may require custom-made orthotics to correct.
