Some of the conditions that we treat in our practice involve clients that present with Strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, Functional Neurological Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Cancer Disorders, Arthritic Conditions, Orthopaedic Conditions, Dementia/ Alzheimer’s Disease but we manage any condition that impairs the client’s ability to return to meaningful everyday activities. We are able to consult and provide recommendations for ongoing services following discharge from occupational therapy such as assistance with showers or domestic assistance and can work with home care providers to offer occupational therapy in the home as a means to review safety and optimise the client’s functional level so that they do not represent to hospital and are able to stay at home.
