Jonathan McClelland opened the Ready to Yarn service in recognition that existing services don’t always have the answers. There are cracks people can fall through, and what is often needed is consistent, supportive counselling with a therapist able to show recognition, and able to work in partnership with them on their unique journey.

Katt McDonald completed her initial Occupational Therapy degree at James Cook University in Townsville in 2002 and worked as a rural and remote Community Therapist until 2004. Katt completed her post-graduate training to be a Driver Trained Occupational Therapist at the University of Sydney in 2004. Katt is trained to use a variety of occupational therapy models when working with adults. She can provide full assessments and in depth programs for improving daily living skills, modifying environments or equipment and improving quality of life.
