Wendy graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 1990, with a 'Bachelor of Arts in Music' degree, majoring in Piano, with secondary studies in Flute and Voice. After graduation, Wendy returned to her home on the Sunshine Coast where she has been teaching ever since. Wendy started teaching Piano, Flute and Theory in 1991 and began entering students in exams with very positive results. Over the past 22 years, Wendy has consistently achieved very high results with her students that have undertaken exams, with regular marks of High Distinction (A+), Honours(A), and Credit (B+ & B) in AMEB exams. Wendy teaches Piano and Flute through to Advanced levels, and Music Theory through to Intermediate (Grade 5) level. In more recent years she started teaching beginner level Clarinet and Saxophone as well. As an accomplished pianist herself, Wendy also enjoys accompanying her woodwind students (flute, clarinet, saxophone) for exams, concerts and eisteddfods. Despite achieving great success in her student's exams, Wendy has many students who just learn for their own enjoyment, and she enjoys teaching the vast range of personalities and interest levels that come her way - of all ages, abilities and past experiences. Wendy teaches everything from Classical to Contemporary; any age, any ability; for exams or 'just for fun'!!
