The AJ Saxophone & Clarinet Academy is owned and managed by Annie Jackson, an experienced professional teacher of Saxophone and Clarinet. Annie studied Saxophone and Clarinet at Sydney Conservatorium of Music (B.Mus.Ed ) and has had 30 years of teaching experience, 20 in Sydney where she was held in the highest regard not only as a teacher of Saxophone and Clarinet but also as an acclaimed conductor. Her students were of the highest caliber with 15 of them chosen to play in the Sydney Olympic bands in 2000 and she was always in demand. As a conductor her greatest accomplishment was when of her bands (Mackellar Girls High School) was invited to play at the Sydney Schools Spectacular for 2 years running with one other band (Chatswood High School) Incidently she also taught most of the Saxophone and Clarinet students at both of these schools. In 2005 she moved up to the Sunshine Coast with her family and then spent the last 10 years at NCC where she developed their Saxophone and Clarinet students to an unheard of standard within the schools history. Annie's students were stand out at Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfods every year with individuals and groups constantly receiving places for their amazing performances. Australian Music Exams (AMEB ) are a strong focus for Annie and she will take your child to where they want to go musically. She has put over 500 + students through AMEB exams from grade 2- A.Mus.A. Many of her students have completed their A.Mus.A (Associate of Music) while at school and she has taken many more into Conservatorium level. Working extensively in both Phoenix, Arizona and Tampa Bay, Florida, studio sound and engineering kept him busy before affairs of the heart drew him to our shores in 2004. Tom has recorded 100's of artists and bands over the years, and is always ready to help with a project. Tom is a lifelong musician specializing on the drums.
