Music for Tots offers personal classes for children aged birth to 4 years. These classes are taught by American musician and Author, Connie Johnson, B.A.,M.Ed. The 45 minute session includes singing, rapping, playing of 4 different instruments each class, notation of sounds and movement. Skills of listening, vocalizing, learning to sing in tune, learning the 5 different wrist actions, alternating the arms, singing through a proper microphone, moving to the beat, mastering rhythmic anticipation, developing multi-rhythm, and experiencing puppetry,

Each voice is bespoke and it is entirely the vocalist's choice as to what genre of vocal music they would like to sing. The understanding and awareness of Vocal Craft and Anatomy gives the vocalist plenty of choice and options to explore and play with their voice, and understand their own unique instrument. Each vocalist's journey is different. Some can take longer than others, and this is OK! With the high demands of vocalists and performers today, strong focus on Vocal Craft is key before interpretation, artistry and performance. It is a liberating feeling to have the choice and control to sing across all styles of music or your own favourite song! Cairns Voice Studio coach all styles and genres of vocal music from musical theatre, contemporary, pop, rock, jazz to classical. Keesha currently lectures voice, at CQU University, Cairns and has completed participation in Three Estill Voice International Voice Craft Level 1 & 2 Courses in Melbourne & Sydney and completed the Estill Voice International Certificate Of Proficiency. Keesha recently completed a Certificate of Proffesional and Creative Practise, CQU University. Cairns Voice Studio covers regional Far North Queensland from Cooktown, Tablelands to Townsville.
