Woodriver Studios is a professional recording studio and music tuition school founded by three best mates - Isaac, Joe, and Liam. Since 2016, their ever-growing team has hosted community events, recorded many local and national acts, as well as provided music education for the Newcastle community since 2016.

Chris Swinkels provides private tuition on Bass, Guitar & Music Theory at his home in Georgetown. All lessons are personalised to suit the students interests and skills and generally don't require the purchase of any supplementary learning resources. He can also assist students with compositional ideas and has quality recording facilities for archiving and sharing these ideas with others.

Lessons are held at my Studio in Kotara and are $33 for a half hour lesson. Hour lessons are available on request. I have been teaching Guitar / Music for over 30 years and listed below are skills that students have asked me to tutor them on over that time. Lessons can include how to play any tune you wish to learn. If we have the MP3 of a song, I will write it out for you. If you wish to combine singing with your guitar playing, I can help you in this area as well. Let me know what your passion is and we can develop your chosen skills.
