I Established Coffs Performing Arts in 1999 – 23 Years ago! – and in that time I have helped literally hundreds of people, young and old, to sing and play the songs and pieces they love – whether it be for exams or for their own enjoyment – and in all that time I have never lost my passion to pass on the love of Performing Arts. I am originally classically trained and took my exams at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and went on to study different genres and methods, particularly Pop Music, in both Singing and Piano. I am proud to still be offering students professional and experienced tuition in a positive, fun, relaxed and nurturing environment, to all ages, beginners to advanced, and in all styles. Luke is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has been playing for over 25 years. His personal work can be viewed by searching ‘The Angel Affair’ on YouTube. He attained his Bachelor of Contemporary Music in 2009. Currently, Luke is working at various schools in the Coffs Coast region, imparting his invaluable musical knowledge to students attending extracurricular music lessons. He has experience in relating to all ages, teaching from kindergarten aged children to adults alike. What sets us apart? Come along and see! Luke has a unique ability to explain music in simple terms and focusses on expression rather than confusing technical terms and rules. He makes learning music fun and you get to choose whatever song you like while also learning music theory along the way. Luke and Asta both hold a current Working with Children Check.
