The original hall where Sir Henry Parkes delivered his famous speech in 1889 is now a museum to federation and a gallery which celebrates the life of Parkes.

The Stanthorpe and District Historical Society has operated the Stanthorpe Heritage Museum since 1970. The collection is maintained and presented by members of the Society. All items are donated by the local community and carefully restored and/or cleaned and displayed by our volunteers. Welcome to Remember When Grafton, a delightful vintage and retro haven located just 7 minutes west of South Grafton in Waterview Heights. Before you visit, give us a call on 0413684424 and we'll make sure to prepare a warm welcome for you, complete with boiled water and open doors. As you journey through picturesque Angus cattle country, keep an eye out for 28 Eatonsville Road. You'll know you've arrived when you spot the charming goats near the RFS shed. Step inside to immerse yourself in a treasure trove of vintage delights. From dresses, bags, and shoes to bath towels, tea towels, and Johnson plates, our shop has an array of retro and vintage items waiting for you. Take your time exploring our fascinating displays, spending a leisurely 2 hours surrounded by nostalgia. Don't forget to indulge in a delightful Devonshire tea, priced at £7.
