Dunedoo Local Museum

The Colonial Inn Museum has a broad range of items in its collection, principally from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and with many items of Australian manufacture. Circa 60,000 items within the collection are displayed in several buildings and storage sheds

Oxley Museum contains an extensive collection of historical documents,artefacts and photographs, about churches, people, cemeteries, agricultural activities and sporting events

Dubbo Regional Gallery, Museum, modern cafe & community arts centre

The Dundullimal Homestead is Dubbo's oldest building open to the public. Dundullimal is a special experience which allows visitors to step back into rural life in the early colony. Its story is one of amazing endeavour and vision, evidenced in the creation of a finely crafted, albeit rustic home, which has survived in near original condition at a time when the land was beyond the limits of settlement

The Village has been designed to collect, preserve, restore, interpret and exhibit artefacts that relate to the history, heritage and culture of the regional area. The Museum, Heritage Village and coffee shop are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 10 am - 4 pm and other times by appointment.

A bustling hub south-west of Tamworth, Werris Creek was specifically chosen by the NSW Government in 1877 to be a gateway for railway travel and trade across the region. Werris Creek thrived on the steam era from the 1870s to the 1960s, and even today retains many artefacts from that time. The Railway Journeys Museum actively conserves and exhibits railway memorabilia from electric staff instruments to miniature trains in an interactive manner for visitors to experience.
