Warra Progress and Heritage Society Inc, nestled in the charming town of Warra, is dedicated to preserving local history and heritage. A recent Significance Assessment declared our park an Historical Precinct, housing historical gems such as the old Railway Station, former Haystack School, quaint Warra jail, heritage Windmill, and vintage Tractor and Plough. The Stanthorpe and District Historical Society has operated the Stanthorpe Heritage Museum since 1970. The collection is maintained and presented by members of the Society.
