JCU Dental is a teaching clinic associated with James Cook University's Discipline of Dentistry Cairns campus. We support the university's vision to provide clinical experience to dental students while simultaneously offering comprehensive dental care to the Cairns public. “I have been going to JCU Dental for 3 years now. The reception staff are always happy, efficient and friendly. There was very little waiting time. The last 2 Dental students, I have found them to be absolutely fantastic and professional. Also the senior Dentist in each ‘pod’ was very informative and explained and examined each procedure. Full 10/10 and would recommend to everyone.”

“I am an extremely nervous patient, very sensitive to pain and needed a lot of work. After spending thousands on previous dentist in town, with bad results, I found Tony. All I can say is that I am more than impressed!! Tony and his staff are so lovely and they don't mess around trying to make more money, finding more work to be done. They take your personal circumstances into account and are awesome. Tony is an absolute professional in his field and he has me smiling again!!! Can not recommend more!”

“My daughter never really liked dentists and was really worried when she had to get braces. Rhonda changed that and made her laugh as soon as we met. She explained everything to my daughter and made her feel really comfortable and although braces are a big deal, she made it so easy. All her staff are fun and happy and nice to be with and they genuinely care about your teeth and about what you should be doing to look after them. If there is ever a time when the brushing hasn't been up to scratch they never make her feel guilty, they just re go over everything, very patiently. I would highly recommend them to everyone.”
