“There was a group of fellow motorbike riders up in Inverell for the weekend. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfy—staff were very friendly and went out of the way and moved their own cars out of the carport to accommodate our motorbikes undercover. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend and will be back.”

“RSM Club Motel is a gem in the landscape of RSL hotels. The place is spacious consisting of well outfitted rooms complemented by switched on management. The attached club has a good variety offering club price meals with chargeback of food and drink available. It's quiet, clean and central to most things. If you are travelling through, its a perfect place to stay. Brushes are provided for cars and they also have great room service.”

“This motel is a little dated but still for the price you pay it's great. The staff make you feel very welcomed, they are friendly and do a good job. Can't complain at all. I think the place would be even better if it was renovated. Other than this, it is a pleasant motel and would recommend.”

“I was amazed at how spotlessly clean this place was. Negligible noise from the highway. The best modern heater in a room I have found in a motel in years, it really did the trick. The freezer of the refrigerator was ice free. Easily overlooked because the signage needs freshening up. I would stay here again. A big thank you to the elderly owner who waited up for our arrival. Not many would do that. A "confirmed" booking in Armidale via Wotif was non-existent and the owners of the motel in Armidale contacted the owner of the Altona Motel to find a room for us when every room between a Glen Innes and Armidale was booked out. Good Save!”

“Turned up at almost midnight feeling absolutely exhausted, beautiful staff who even helped me get my kids into the room and ensured we had all we needed. Very reasonable prices for a simple but lovely rooms. Most important, very CLEAN!”
