Despite being situated near the highway it was very quiet and comfortable with great views over neighbouring paddocks. Roadhouse over highway had great home cooked meals.

Comfortable innerspring, an amazing Home cooked meal that would feed 2 people. All the little things added, even air freshener and a microwave unlike most places. And very clean, I mean spotless. Julie and the team are warm, caring and friendly, I even had an 11year old little man help me to connect to their WiFi. I miss the view of Sugarcane fields and mountains already. waking up to cows and birds, heck, Julie even waved me off from her home balcony on my way out. I will most certainly come back here for more, thank you for a great stay. Great stuff Julie and team!

The hosts were welcoming and courteous. WiFi is available in the rooms. Rooms are very comfortable with beautiful taste in décor. Everything a traveller needs. 24-hour truck stop right across the highway which has a great selection of good food whatever time you arrive. It certainly makes a big difference on the Mackay - Rockhampton hop. I stayed here this time last year and it is just as good this year. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel.
