“As soon as we arrive we felt very much like we were home, very clean rooms and tasteful furniture. The owners are lovely - Rod & Vicki, nothing was too much trouble and he grounds were very well looked after and it was back off the road very quite. We were tired from travelling and made sure we selected a motel with a restaurant.”

“Acacia Motor Inn is a great place to stay. I ended up staying here for 2 nights whilst on a short visit to some old family friends on our way to QLD. The Staff were just so nice and friendly and I was shocked at how comfortable and clean the rooms were. For the price you pay, it was I was scared to open the door but was pleasantly surprised. Make sure you order breakfast in, nothing beats a home cooked breaky. I will be back same time next year.”

“We happened to be passing through the lovely Armidale and Elite Motor Inn was great value for money. Not luxury but hey, very cheap. Good sized room for our family of three. Very quiet so was restful. Very clean and grounds immaculate. Friendly staff on check in. Walking distance to restaurants.”

“Stayed at the Sandstock Motor Inn for a couple of nights with my wife and was amazed. Everthing was perfect, the rooms are a good size with a Queen Bed and a comfortable Lounge, the rooms are spotless and serviced each day with towels and replacement of toiletres and coffee and Tea ect, there is a microwave in the room for heating up food, and the Managment go out of there way to ensure your comfort and are most helpful. I would highly recommend giving it a go. it is also directly oposite Armidale Bowling Club that has good Bistro meals. Perfect!”

“We spent the night here at Deer Park Motor Inn and happened to dine inn at the restaurant. It was extremely nice, their food was tasty and the venue is undergoing a revamp which should make it even more user friendly - the dishes were very nice; both in taste and presentation. The owners were more then happy to spend time time with us to make us feel welcome and personalise our experience. Our room for the night was very comfortable and the reverse cycle kept us nice and warm on this winters night. would love to come back again in the near future.”

“I was amazed at how spotlessly clean this place was. Negligible noise from the highway. The best modern heater in a room I have found in a motel in years, it really did the trick. The freezer of the refrigerator was ice free. Easily overlooked because the signage needs freshening up. I would stay here again. A big thank you to the elderly owner who waited up for our arrival. Not many would do that. A "confirmed" booking in Armidale via Wotif was non-existent and the owners of the motel in Armidale contacted the owner of the Altona Motel to find a room for us when every room between a Glen Innes and Armidale was booked out. Good Save!”

“We stayed here for 3 nights to ride the twisty roads. We won the meat raffle Friday night and the pub supplied a BBQ where we cooked a few meals near the motel units where we stayed. Very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly. Excellent weekend. We Would definitely do that again!”

“This motel is a little dated but still for the price you pay it's great. The staff make you feel very welcomed, they are friendly and do a good job. Can't complain at all. I think the place would be even better if it was renovated. Other than this, it is a pleasant motel and would recommend.”
