“Could not recommend Ian enough. Fast and efficient service. No bullsh*t and knows his stuff. Asked him while servicing my Ute if he could give it a Quick Look over for anything else that might need fixing and come collection he had a list organised by priority of repair with quotes ready to go. “I have recently moved to Townsville and have zero bias, when I asked colleagues and family members who have lived here all their lives which mechanic I should try they all had different opinions, I went with CB Automotive after a short conversation about the issues I was having with my cars. Two very different cars , a very old Ute and a modern family car both exactly the same experience, fantastic! Cost effective and very efficient. I have had mechanics all over the world and I can honestly say this has been the very best service I have received, ever. Both cars problems sorted , older one had problems found which previous mechanic missed and now is driving like a Hollywood actor, 300km but feels like it’s only had 30km on it. I am very grateful ! I foolishly put some petrol into my, rather old, diesel Ute. I called Mark's Mechanics. Within an hour the tow truck they sent had picked up the Ute. When I made the phone call they told me the work that would be needed and the cost. They estimated that it would be completed within three days. Just two days later they phoned to let me know the car was ready. I collected the car and paid for the service. This type of restoration is expensive. But, the cost was as estimated. I am impressed with the quality of the Invoice/Report provided. I was able to understand exactly the methodical process they undertook. I was able to realize that the cost was justified and that the work was performed in a professional manner. They provided me with a very well considered Vehicle Report that identified a list of required and preventive maintenance that they recommended. Marks Mechanics are professionals I am happy to recommend to others.
