The late Phil Buckland founded Buckland Auto Electrical in 1968. After Phil Buckland's passing in 1976, Ian Buckley, a close friend, purchased the company. As the director of Buckley's Plant Maintenance, Ian relocated the business to Unanderra while maintaining its excellent setup. This move further solidified BAE as a reliable arm of the Buckley enterprise. BAE has a complete auto electrical workshop located in Unanderra for in-house repairs.
