The business was originally founded as Gunnedah Building Products in 1975, specialising in the production of concrete Besser blocks. Over time, understanding the demand in the market for assistance with moving pallets of the blocks resulted in the purchase of ‘The Hippo', a truck-mounted crane which resides at the depot to this day. Over the past 45 years, the business has transformed into one of the largest crane fleets within New South Wales.
