I've been coming here for several years now! Food is always superb. Service is friendly & attentive too. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. The only suggestion is the venue is getting a bit old & tired so probably needs a good scrub, clean & paint job!

The fajitas are so good, and the chilli con carne is just as good! Excellent friendly service. Great atmosphere. The place to come if you love Mexican.

Great location and the fit out is beautiful, makes for a fun night out! The drinks are lit and the prices are reasonable for a large meal! Will definitely return!!

We came across The Jungle Mexican Cantina on a very busy night but snagged a table for 8 which was lucky. From the moment we were seated, the service was fantastic. When we walked back from the bottle shop with a bottle of Sangria they were ready with wine glasses full of ice and when our autistic son had a meltdown they were on hand immediately and saved the day. On top of that the food was as good as Mexican gets for a great price. Loved it!

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I've been to! Always top of our list when going to Coolangatta from Melbourne. Bean nachos and the picadillo taco or enchilada never disappoint.

Called here because we found a coupon in a tourist magazine, a 'free' main when you purchase another main. Maitre'd was very helpful and friendly. Staff were quite busy, but as we had dropped in without a booking we didn't mind. Food was tasty and plentiful. We would go again.

The Aztec looked extremely inviting with a nice deck area to enjoy an evening cocktail before having dinner. We came here early for dinner one night and the waitstaff who greeted us were incredibly friendly which is always the best start to any dining out experience. I love my Mexican food and the Aztec offered all of the traditional Mexican food options you would hope! We had the nachos to share as an entree and when they first arrived, they didn't look like much but were superb for an entree with some guacamole and the beans underneath, so simple and tasty. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails as well which were pretty good and came out in no time. For my main I had the vegetarian enchilada which was also very nice! I love the refried beans and the tasty Mexican rice, such a perfect combination! The little raw side salad that it came with was incredibly tasty too, lots of fresh veges and the sauce made it perfect! It was a great dining experience overall and I would recommend everyone have a try of this place!
