Nyushido is a style of fighting that uses many different martial arts. Sensei Troy Thomson has trained in a number of styles in his 25 years experience in martial arts. He started with Karate- jutsu in 1982, switching to Taekwondo & kick boxing through the 90's and Hansoodo in 2001. Sensei Troy Holds Dan Ranks in more than one discipline, he has earned Trainer and Refereeing levels as well as Instructor Certificates in several styles. Nyushido Combat Bu-Jutsu combines several martial arts to create a system of fight that flows from one technique to the next, with a strong stand up kick Boxing style to a Ju-Jutsu style take-down, throwing & locking system

As well as learning a proven method of self defence, training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts will boost your strength, conditioning, flexibility and general health levels to their peak. Competition is completely optional for any student, but for those looking to test themselves we successfully train competitors in Grappling Tournaments and Mixed Martial Arts events. Our student base includes many Jiu Jitsu Champions and Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighters.
