My name is Stephanie Milne and I am lucky enough to be a Port Douglas Marriage Celebrant. I believe it is a privilege to be chosen to solemnise a marriage ceremony and as such, I never perform more than one wedding a day. This allows me to be completely flexible and available for every couple I work with. I always aim to give each couple the best of myself and I am more than happy to go the extra mile. I am also a life long artist, which I believe gives me a unique ability to see every ceremony from a more creative perspective. Every couple I work with is different, with different dreams, aspirations and requirements, as a result making every wedding completely unique. Whether it is a simple elegant elopement ceremony or a more grand affair incorporating many friends and family; I always encourage each couple to be as involved in the creative process as they would like. I write each ceremony personally for each couple encouraging them to aim for the perfect moment that will remain as a perfect memory for the years to come. As a result, I have been fortunate to be involved in some quite varied, diverse and often amazing ceremonies and rituals. Hi, I'm Wayne Rees and I've been a Marriage Celebrant for the past 19 years. During that time I’ve married couples all over North Queensland including some of the most beautiful locations you could hope to find. Being born and bred in Cairns, I am very fortunate to have to “work” in such beautiful surroundings. In the lead up to and during my ceremonies, I make sure the bridal couple are both feeling relaxed. That way they are free to enjoyed the ceremony without stress or tension. I make sure everyone at the service can hear me. My training as a professional actor taught me to project my voice to the people in the back row. I am also the official “Town Crier” for Cairns. Having worked as an actor for many years, I am very happy to tailor your ceremony to however you would like it, be it quiet and calm or full of energy and enthusiasm - I'm here to make your day complete the way you would like it. am a full time Cairns Celebrant and I specialise in ceremonies in Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas, but I also travel all over Tropical North Queensland – we call it Paradise! I offer you a professional and personalised ceremony – warm and caring and reflecting YOUR personalities and using my expertise to make sure you have a memorable Wedding. There are endless choices for wedding venues in the Cairns area – you can marry at sunset on a beach or maybe in the rainforest; in a hot air balloon at sunrise; in an elegant private house or in a chapel overlooking the ocean or even in your own backyard. Whether there are only the two of you or you have 100 guests – I am available any day, any time, any place – 7 days each week and you will have my undivided attention. Once I have received a booking from you, I confirm your date, time and venue, and I provide you with a good selection of wedding ceremonies to choose from, plus further examples of wording for your vows and ring exchange. There are some optional rituals you can incorporate and you can include special poems and readings. You can include members of your bridal party or family and friends and you can make special mention of anyone who is unable to be there, for whatever reason. You can use your favourite music if you wish or maybe have a string quartet – the choice is YOURS. On the day I give you a Presentation Certificate, and I can provide a rehearsal if you need one – in the Cairns and Northern Beaches areas, and unlimited contact via email and telephone – ensuring your wedding will be memorable for you and your guests. I include a PA System if you need one and a table and 2 chairs for the signing of your Certificates.
