Maya has completed her Diploma of Remedial massage with the Australasian college of Natural therapies, Brisbane, QLD in 2010 and more recently completed an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, Heidelberg, VIC in 2016. She has also trained with Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, Prahran VIC as a clinical Pilates instructor in both Equipment and Matwork in 2019. She has had 10 years experience working as a Remedial Massage therapist and Myotherapist, working alongside Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, chiropractors and podiatrists gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in physical therapy. Maya likes to take a more holistic approach with her clients. She has experience in treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, chronic pain, repetitive strain injuries, post surgery care, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle strains and sprains, pregnancy and post natal massage, oncology massage treatments, dry needling, joint mobilising, cupping, Pilates and exercise rehabilitiation.
