Rick Latimore and Chris Keating established When Financial Solutions Newcastle in 2022, as one of the few independent financial planning offerings in the Hunter region. We believe that advisers should be independent from product manufacturers, so they are free to serve our clients and our clients alone. We are committed to independence, evidenced in three ways: We are commission-free and don’t receive incentive payments from product manufacturers and; We don’t have any ownership links or affiliations with product manufacturers; We don’t charge asset-based fees. Our advice is unbiased, we are free to recommend any product approved by two independent research houses. Chris has worked in financial services since 2008, and as a financial planner for more than 10 years. They both worked at Stateplus / Aware Super Financial Services, gaining extensive experience in retirement planning and have a deep knowledge of the complexities of government-defined benefit schemes. We support our clients with many different products, including, but not limited, to Australiansuper, Aware Super, Hesta Super, Colonial First State, Unisuper, Australian Retirement Trust, Vanguard, Macquarie Wrap, Rest, HUB24, BT, IOOF, Netwealth.
