I did get a response however it stated that they were booked out until 2023. As an ex businessman myself I would have increased my staff to cope with the increased work load because help in 2023 is no help at all?!
We're extremely happy with the work we had done recently! We had our steeply sloping back yard levelled, and a rock garden put in. Mark's qualifications and years of experience really showed. His knowledge of plants, soils and rocks was excellent. He was great to work with, and very careful with the job. When an east-coast low weather system halted work for a while he made sure the fill we were to use was covered securely with huge tarps, and that erosion protection/ sediment fencing was in place. He also visited the site during that time to make sure all was well, and kept in contact with us via text. He had great ideas, and also worked with our ideas to give us the look we wanted. The finished product is wonderful: our back yard has been transformed. We couldn't be happier!
The fence was completed to standard and on the day planned for. There was no long wait time to access the service.
The quote was provided site unseen with assurances despite the company being notified about difficulties with access for equipment upon initial consultation. On the day, a workable suggestion for managing the access issue from the alternative approach to the boundary was ignored. Instead, the contractor cut to the ground a section of a planted hedge and an established fruit tree was pulled by its roots and trunk damaged with machinery. Finally, the invoice for the work ended up being higher than the quote, with no explanation provided for the variation.
We have learned a lot from this, our first experience of engaging a fencing contractor. We hope this business learns to conduct onsite visits so they can provide accurate quotes and negotiate with the client to get explicit consent about how difficulties with the job will be handled well before the job commences.
I contracted AGT Landscapes to complete a small job at my property in Byron Bay. Andy was extremely keen to do the work with a review of the work the following day(Sunday) he quoted the work and and began within a week, that was where the positives finished. He got the levels all wrong with the turf being laid against the weep holes. The turf was supposed to be Sir Walter however he laid standard Buffallo. He installed the letterbox back to front and finally returned 3 weeks later to complete, if thats what you can call it!
