Driving past here for some time and finally gave it a shot. So glad we finally bit the bullet. Have to say we really wish we had tried this restaurant much much sooner. Came with a bunch of mates & the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff & the owner was great. They really looked after us & were very accommodating. Definitely be going back soon!

Bought the il Colosseo pizza here on Saturday night,one of the best pizzas I've ever had.I live in Maitland and come to Taree often,will be back in a couple of weeks and will be going back for another pizza.Well done guys.

Driving past here for some time and finally gave it a shot. So glad we finally bit the bullet. Have to say we really wish we had tried this restaurant much much sooner. We held our 50th birthday here last weekend. Kowan (business owner) & Billie (events organiser) were both professional and fabulous to work with. They took care of everything very easily. The delicious food they prepared and served couldn't have been better and there was plenty of it. The flexible space is perfect for a large party. We booked a wonderful local DJ called Jomeca. Can't recommend The Benchmark at Hawks Nest highly enough for a wonderful place to book a special event - birthday, wedding etc. A very big thank you to Kowan, Billie & your great team and Jomeca for making everything perfect for our special occasion.
