“When we stay across the way at The Coast Motel we always come here for dinner. HUGE yummy Chicken Schnitties with HOT, FRESH pepper sauce. We opt to pay a little extra for veges & mash. The veges are cooked to perfection. Spacious eating area, decent bar & great friendly staff. Five stars!”

This place has a good vibe with friendly atmosphere. They serve pretty good basic Australian pub food and plenty of it. Very busy at lunch time (always a good sign), so it's wise to book if you're a largish group. As to whether they serve American food, you have a choice of hot chips (fries) and salad or veges with most mains, and burgers and steaks are on the menu, but they're Aussie style burgers.

Brunswick HotelI had some mates tell me that the grand in mount Morgan was doing really good meals so we decided to take the drive from rocky to see how good it actually was. We were very surprised with the whole expirence. The restaurant was a little dated but we could not fault the meals! Had a starter of cheese and onion garlic bread which was delicious!

Leichhardt HotelBrilliant little pub with great meals and the rooms are roomy with TV, fridge and everything you need. Would rather stop here than in Gladstone or Rocky. Two thumbs up.
