“When we stay across the way at The Coast Motel we always come here for dinner. HUGE yummy Chicken Schnitties with HOT, FRESH pepper sauce. We opt to pay a little extra for veges & mash. The veges are cooked to perfection. Spacious eating area, decent bar & great friendly staff. Five stars!”

Ascot HotelThis place has a good vibe with friendly atmosphere. They serve pretty good basic Australian pub food and plenty of it. Very busy at lunch time (always a good sign), so it's wise to book if you're a largish group. As to whether they serve American food, you have a choice of hot chips (fries) and salad or veges with most mains, and burgers and steaks are on the menu, but they're Aussie style burgers.

Leichhardt HotelWe were in a 2 bedroom unit, the rooms were big and had great views (we stayed on the top floor). Will definitely be back..

The Edge Apartment Hotel RockhamptonThis nice Hotel is full of character and history. It's renovated to provide modern amenities but the room still hosted many character features. The four poster bed dominated the room however plenty of space left for the spa and 42inch Rv. Full cooked breakfast in the morning and was delicious.
