Featured Reviews of the Best Hot Water Systems in Canberra

5 Average Rating based on 8 reviews from 40 Hot Water Systems near Canberra

There was some wetness in the root of a pipe downstairs from a toilet upstairs. I thought the drain was blocked. Joe from ACT Alpha Plumbing Group came, and he determined at the first glance that the drain had not been blocked. He cut the pipe open, and confirmed his suspicion that the PVC pipe was too big for the terra-cotta pipe underneath. The water hit on the edge of the latter and spilled out, gradually pushing through the concrete around it, and finally making its way out. He put a PVC adaptor into the terra-cotta pipe, connected and sealed the adaptor to the PVC pipe above, and then sealed it to the terra-cotta pipe underneath with concrete. Joe is very efficient, and honest, and his rate is very reasonable. Joe, I hope you're reading this, thank you for your work, and all my future plumbing work is yours.

Anthony & his apprentice Noah were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly, when working on our ducted gas system. Anthony explained what the problem was, the solution & how to use the system more economically. I’ll be recommending Blueline to friends and family.

Need hot water system installation or repairs?

Q: What is the process for getting my hot water system and heat pump checked for safety compliance in accordance to Australian regulations?

A: Well, first things first, it's important that you get in touch with a certified and licensed Canberra plumber or specialist who is well versed in the Australian regulations. They'll inspect your system thoroughly, putting a keen eye on potential risks like gas leaks, incorrect pressure settings and ensuring the safety relief valves are operating correctly. It's a wise idea to have your systems checked yearly for peace-of-mind. If you're craving some professional guidance, it might be time to contact several skilled experts in our directory for a proper quote.

Q: How can I ensure my solar hot water system is installed properly?

A: This kind of work needs a true connoisseur, someone who’s really got their head in the game. A certified hot water technician will use the right tools and follow rigorous safety practices. They'll install it right the first time, saving you headaches down the track. If you fancy doing your due diligence, you might want to check the installer’s qualifications and verify proper installations of previous customers. And, as always, don’t hesitate to suss out a few experts from our directory for a competitive quote.

Q: How does the energy consumption and performance of traditional hot water systems compare with solar hot water systems in Australian households?

A: In Canberra's sunny climate, solar hot water systems can do wonders. While your traditional hot water systems are heating away in the background, solar systems are soaking up the sun, transforming it into hot water in a far more environmentally friendly manner. Of course, the energy consumption and savings can vary based on system size, household size and the time of use. So, for a personalised assessment, ring up some experts in our directory for a comprehensive quote.

Q: What water temperature should my hot water system be set at to stay within Australian safety standards and minimise the risk of scalding?

A: According to Australian Standards, the hot water for personal hygiene purposes should be supplied at a max temperature of 50 degrees Celsius to tap outlets. This is critical to prevent scalding. If you suspect your water temperature might be set too high, you've got to get on that right away. It's time to set up an inspection with a local professional from our directory to make sure your water is at the right temperature, piping hot but safe!
