In 2015 I founded SJ’s Equine Reiki and started offering Reiki for horses other than my own. I continued to learn and develop in the modality of energy therapies and obtained my Reiki Masters (with horses) in 2018. In July 2022 I rebranded my business and founded SJ’s Equine Bodyworks, as I had successfully completed my studies in Equine Tension Release Therapy (ETRT) which was founded by Alistair Brooks in Victoria Australia. Equine bodywork holds the potential to provide a variety of advantages to horses. This specialised approach aids in relieving muscle tension and pain, boosting circulation, enhancing flexibility, mitigating discomfort and rigidity, optimising performance, and contributing to the holistic welfare of the equine companion. SJ's Equine Bodyworks provides a mobile service to cater to the convenience of my clients. I travel to your property to spare you the time of floating your horse. However, I am happy to meet you at a showground, agistment facility, if you prefer.

We are not out to produce quantity and prefer to produce top quality, well handled and well mannered progeny. Our primary objective for you our customer is to produce strong athletic, sound horses with the desirable temperament specifically bred for Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing.
