Lovely and clean with a good shower. Basic breakfast included which was also nice.

This place has all you need for a small getaway. The rooms are pretty basic. The hotel pool and spa are sensational, great place to unwind. Very modern looking hotel and perfect walking distance to sights, food and views along the waters edge. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

Make sure you pay extra for a water view balcony to make your experience that much better. It was lovely to have the doors open during the night with the sea breeze coming through. The buffet breakfast was quite nice and I can recommend the Coffee in the cafe at the front - Just great.

I stayed in a beautiful spacious apartment that was tastefully furnished and well appointed. Beautiful ocean views from the room. I just loved the bi-folding doors off the balcony with outdoor furniture. The hotel pool is pretty spacious with a great ambience. I just loved it and hope to be back again soon.

I can't speak highly enough of my stay at Kookaburra Coastal Retreat. I had just come from a few days staying with friends at another BnB further down the coast, & while it was huge & lovely, we had to supply all our own towels (beach and personal), there was no coffee machine or even a coffee plunger, only rudimentary basic pantry staples (tea bags, powdered coffee, salt, pepper etc) and the general heating was woefully inadequate. KCR in comparison was so welcoming, roomy-but-cosy & comfortable & I can't think of any requirement that wasn't anticipated & catered for. The pantry was full, fresh fruit, fresh laid eggs, a variety of breakfast items, plenty of clean linens & blankets, super comfy beds, air-con, privacy, lovely bush surroundings, beautiful Rainbow Beach close by. . . And Ralph, the owners sweet Pug, is adorable. I highly recommend this lovely place, the owners are friendly, easy to approach & happy to help. We'll definitely be back!
