Bayside Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Clinic specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Asian based healing modalities. TCM combines acupuncture, heat therapy, cupping, herbal medicine and massage therapy, for an effective, safe and holistic approach to healthcare.

Mullumbimby Herbals began as the vision of Annette Morgan and Val Iwaszko in 1994 and opened its doors in the old Poinciana Café building in 1996 (now Flock cafe). The intention was to supply affordable naturopathic healthcare to the local community in the ancient apothecary style of herbal medicine. We wanted to offer a free over-the-counter health advice service, funded by the sale of high-quality herbal medicines and nutritional supplements. Naturopathic consultations were offered for clients with more complicated heath issues. This is still predominately how we serve the community today.

Alexandra Quirk is a multidisciplinary health professional that works closely with herbal medicine and energetic medicine. With diplomas in both western herbal medicine and Usui reiki, Alexandra offers consultations that focus on a wide array of health issues from stress, gut health, sleep, weight and hormonal issues to emotional issues that manifest themselves as physical presentations. By employing modalities that focus on physical, emotional and spiritual presentations Alexandra can confidently support you on your healing journey towards contentment and full health.

I'm a registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist and trained Birth Assistant. I use Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Massage, Food as Medicine, Breath work and Meditation to address the mental, the physical, emotional and environmental aspects expressed in the individual. Looking beyond the signs and symptoms and responding to the root of the imbalance, allowing for a more integrated approach to healing. I specialise reproductive health, women's hormonal imbalances including; period pain, irregular periods, fertility, post natal care, birth, emotional wellbeing, depression, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, exhaustion, low immunity, parasites and digestive health.
