Gold Coast Medicare Local is an independent, locally run, not-for-profit company. We're aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of the Gold Coast community by working in partnership with health and community services such as General Practice, Allied Health, Mental Health and Aged Care.

LHAC Inc. is a not for profit health promotion Charity with DGR status (donations over $2.00 tax deductible) we work with people affected by mental illness, families, carers, school mates anyone affected. Currently we run 5 support groups across the Gold Coast in, Nerang, Labrador, southport, Currumbin and palm beach, everyone is welcome to attend we do have membership but this is free to join. All our groups are run by a person with a lived experience, having someone to talk to who live with mental health is invaluable. We endeavour to help our members with whatever their needs may be. With our groups they are motivated by members the members decide what areas/topics we cover.
