Merriwa Sports Club, The Sports Club was established in 1974 following the amalgamation of the Merriwa Golf Club (first established in the early 1900's)and the Merriwa Bowling Club (established 1951).The Club was called the Merriwa Bowls and Golf Club.

Returned and Services League Club. Club opening times; Monday to Friday 11.30am, Saturday/Sunday 11am. Bistro hours - Thursday to Sunday 12 to 2pm, Monday to Saturday 6pm to 8pm. Pizzas available from the bar at all times. TAB/Keno, Bingo Thursday's 11.30am start. Free range camping behind Club.
