Koala Cherries is family owned and operated. We stand on the pillars laid by generations before us. We are based in Yarck, two hours north east of Melbourne. Today, cousins Michael and Simon Rouget own and operate this third generation cherry growing, packing and marketing business but they stand on the pillars laid by generations before them. McNab Orchards is a long-established fruit growing and fruit storage enterprise based at Ardmona in Victoria Australia. Selected by Victor McNab, a respected geologist, in 1910, the Ardmona property is said to be on some of the best soil in the world. A comprehensive irrigation system allows the growth of quality fruit and crops. Five generations of the McNab family have managed the business, with an ongoing commitment to the latest technology in all areas. Many changes have been made in the planting, pruning and watering of fruit trees. The cool-storage of fruit is computer-controlled, equipment is regularly maintained and staff are fully trained. All operations are monitored by our Global Gap Quality Assurance Standard.

Our aim is to provide food that is fresh, local, and produced in a way that enhances rather than damages our environment. We grow a range of seasonal vegetables, as well as berries, cherries ,and other fruit. You can find us at Kyneton and Lancefield Farmers Markets, and other local markets when the seasons are more productive. You can also find our cordial range at the Glenlyon General Store.
