Came here for the Sunday buffet with family members. For the price it was actually very reasonable but the range of food on their menu, it lacked somewhat. You really pay for the Veresace name.

Came to Palazzo for an onsite meeting and found plenty of comfortable places around for privacy and drinks. There was plenty of free parking available next door at the Mariner Mirage if you cant park onsite or cant find anything on the street at the front.

About
Though Southport Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1924, its story extends further into the past. As early as 1913. volunteer lifesavers served at Main Beach. A small group of locals formed the first patrolling squad. Their initiative was largely in response to a 1912 drowning disaster at Main Beach, which took the lives of three young men. This patrolling group served for several years before disbanding. In 1920, another well-intentioned but short-lived life saving club was formed. By 1924 a substantial bridge connecting Southport to Main Beach was completed - it provided easy beach access to locals and visitors. The guarantee of increased bathers and the lack of lifesavers was an ominous prospect. So, on the night of the 15th December 1924, a group of Southport gentlemen decided to form the Southport Surf Life Saving Club.

Very popular restaurant so make sure you book in advance especially when it's a public holiday. The food quality is good and theres a large variety to choose from. Quite pricey but as I said very popular therefore the food is pretty good.

Come here twice now and the first was just after opening. The service was that poor the first time we actually to walk out. The second time was a little better, at least we got to the good stage! I thought the concept ordering on iPads is great, it's a shame they got one of the four dishes we ordered wrong. The food is ok and worth going back. Just try not to sit by the door as it can get very windy. Worth you trying it out if want a great location and good food.

We've been here a number of times and loved the food and the service. The prices are reasonable. They do an excellent balut, as well as the dinuagan and adobo are superb. We've often finished our meals with halo halo or leche flan, again excellent desserts. Kubo is one of my favourite restaurants on the Coast.

The laneway & garden is a beautifully lit space, equal if not rival to the rooftop space perfect for bigger functions and intimate dinners under cover seating up to 80 people. Mr P.P. wasn’t just a regular Postmaster, he was also an avid playwright, actor, photographer, poet and illustrator in the community. As a true creative entertainer, P.P.A would write and act in plays for the communities he served. We have included drawings, songs and poems written by P.P.A in our menus and throughout the venue. A massive thank you to the entire extended Agnew family for their assistance in providing imagery from P.P.’s sketchbooks and travel diaries. He was a larger than life character and we are truly honored to tell his story and continue the legend of P.P. Agnew.

We've been here a number of times and loved the food and the service. The prices are reasonable. They do an excellent balut, as well as the dinuagan and adobo are superb. We've often finished our meals with halo halo or leche flan, again excellent desserts. Kubo is one of my favourite restaurants on the Coast.

Came to Palazzo for an onsite meeting and found plenty of comfortable places around for privacy and drinks. There was plenty of free parking available next door at the Mariner Mirage if you cant park onsite or cant find anything on the street at the front.

Very popular restaurant so make sure you book in advance especially when it's a public holiday. The food quality is good and theres a large variety to choose from. Quite pricey but as I said very popular therefore the food is pretty good.
