Excellent fresh seafood with spectacular views of Tweed River across the road. Plenty of picnic tables and public toilets. A lovely way to spend a sleepy lunchtime. Family pack was huge and reasonably priced at $52!

Tweed River SeafoodsSituated in a very quiet location and certainly not a resort. Very good value for a base location to explore the Tweed and surrounds. Very happy and accommodating owners. Amazing river views out the front and a wonderful Tavern just a 10 minute walk along the river bank.

Pandanus Cafe and Licensed RestaurantFive of us had dinner at Mel's on Broadway last Sunday. Great little club restaurant, beautiful food, steak cooked to perfection, best chips in the Tweed, beautiful fresh salad with just the right amount of dressing, great pasta. We all enjoyed our meals. Staff were friendly and courteous. For a little country club it was excellent value for money.
